NUDGE
What Nudge stores, what stays on your device and what you can delete.
Effective September 6, 2026
Nudge stores the reminders you create, including titles, dates, amounts, categories and notes. If you sign in, your email address and reminder data are associated with your account so they can sync across your devices.
Text recognition runs on your device. The image you choose stays on that device and is not uploaded or synced. If smarter extraction is enabled and you are signed in, the text read from the image—not the image itself—may be sent to Nudge’s backend and its AI processing provider to improve the reminder draft.
Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat helps Nudge determine whether a Pro entitlement is active. Those services may process transaction, subscription, device and account identifiers under their own privacy policies. Nudge does not receive your full payment-card details.
Reminder notifications are scheduled by the operating system. Local reminders and preferences are stored on your device. Signing in enables optional cloud sync through Supabase. Nudge does not sell personal data or use reminder contents for advertising.
Signing in sends a one-time link to the address you enter; there is no password. Delivering that email means handing your address to Resend, which sends it on Nudge’s behalf and keeps a delivery record under its own privacy policy. Nothing else about you is in that email, and no address is sent anywhere until you ask to sign in.
If crash reporting is enabled in a build, Nudge sends technical information about a failure—the error, where in the app it happened, the app version and the operating system—to Sentry so the fault can be fixed. Reminder contents, screenshots, email addresses and device identifiers are not attached. Builds without crash reporting configured send nothing.
You can delete individual reminders, or clear this device with Delete all data in Account & data. When you are signed in, that action becomes Delete account: it removes the account itself along with every reminder, deletion record and usage count held against it, and it cannot be undone. Store transaction records may remain with Apple or RevenueCat as required for billing, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
You can use Nudge without an account, decline notifications, export your reminder data, sign out, or delete your account from Account & data. Nudge is not directed to children under 13.
